The original farm outbuildings at East Rose have been skillfully and professionally converted to provide five splendidly appointed cottages. An extension of the ancient farmhouse, a listed building, has been developed to provide two further cottages all equipped to the highest standards of the National Tourist Board and providing every need for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Cornwall.

All the cottages with the exception of Mowhay have full electric heating; Mowhay has a gas fired central heating system. All the cottages are equipped with clock radios and hairdryers and have modern kitchens & colour TVs. Cots and high chairs are provided at no extra charge. Both two story cottages have secure integral stair gates. Barn and Mowhay also have a video recorder.

Cottage Interior

A coin operated telephone is permanently available. The laundry room is equipped with an automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. The built-in barbecue located in the picnic area is provided with charcoal and firelighters and secure personal cycle storage is available. There is a dedicated and secure fishing hut available with its own refrigerator for the storage of tackle and bait.

The Barn

Barn Cottage was originally part of a 17th century farm outbuilding. On the first floor there is a large open plan living area with a kitchen at one end. There are dual aspect picture windows giving superb views out over the lakes and the open moor. On the ground floor there is a bathroom and three bedrooms, the Master Bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite shower room and there are two twin bedded rooms.

Tamarisk Cottage

Tamarisk Cottage was originally part of a 17th century farm outbuilding. On the first floor there is an open plan living area and kitchen offering far-reaching views out over the open moor. On the ground floor there is a bathroom and two bedrooms; the Master Bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite shower room and the second bedroom has two single beds.

Stable Cottage
Sleeps three plus cot
Stable Cottage adjoins the main farmhouse and is a single story cottage with two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one single bedroom. There is an open plan living room with a natural granite hearth, a kitchen area and a bathroom equipped with both a bath and a power shower. The cottage has natural pine exposed beams and fittings throughout and offers some excellent views out over the lakes to the open moor beyond.

Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage also adjoins the main farmhouse. There is an open plan living room with a natural granite hearth and chimney and a kitchen area, a bathroom equipped with both a bath and a power shower and a double bedroom. The cottage has natural pine exposed beams and fittings throughout.

Moor Cottage

Moor Cottage is a single story cottage converted from a 17th century farm outbuilding. There are exposed beams throughout and the attractive open plan living room has a splendid granite hearth. There is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.

The Shippen
Sleeps two plus cot
Shippen Cottage was originally a traditional Cornish granite farm outbuilding that has been sympathetically converted into a well-appointed cottage. The cottage has also been equipped to near RADAR standards to provide high quality accommodation for the mobility impaired and those confined to a wheelchair. There are exposed beams throughout and the attractive open plan living room has some splendid views across the open moor. There is a double bedroom with a substantial shower room that is suitable for wheelchairs.

Mowhay Cottage

Mowhay was originally a traditional Cornish granite farm outbuilding that has been professionally converted into a comfortable cottage. Designed and constructed to near RADAR standards to provide high quality accommodation for the mobility impaired and those confined to a wheelchair, the cottage has a gas fired central heating system and a video recorder.
