The Chines, Swanage, Dorset
The Chines is a three-storey Victorian property that was converted in 2001 from a hotel to luxury seaside apartments.
Flat 2 is located on the ground floor, Flat 5 on the first floor and Flat 7 on the top floor.
The Chines is situated to the north of Swanage adjacent to Burlington Chine which offers a short stroll to award winning, safe, sandy beaches.
You will be minutes away from fantastic walking country, yet a mere stroll from Swanage town centre. All three apartments afford sunny living rooms, have 2 bedrooms and sleep up to 6 people each with their own parking space and space for visitor’s cars. The Chines has a video entry system, all apartments offer modern facilities with families in mind and are ideal for a comfortable stay on the Isle of Purbeck.
Just opposite is The Grand Hotel, and along the road from The Pines Hotel, both open to non-residents, where you will experience panoramic views across Swanage Bay whilst enjoying lunch or dinner. The Grand Hotel also boasts a health and fitness suite, and is an ideal place for morning coffee or afternoon tea.
The flats allow no smoking and no pets, with duvets and pillows provided, (with regularly laundered protective coverings) and new for 2006 with bed linen included. All you need to bring are towels and tea towels.

Flat 2
Situated on the ground floor, the accommodation boasts two bedrooms and two
bathrooms, the flat is perfect for both families or couples, well-equipped and
sleeps 4 – 6 people. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an
en-suite shower room, whilst the other bedroom accommodates two 3ft beds and
TV/video, and is opposite the family bathroom which hosts a bath with shower
attachment toilet and wash basin. The fully fitted kitchen has a gas
hob/electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave oven and washing machine. The
bright living room, with bay windows, hosts a double sofa bed, armchairs, the
dining table and chairs and a TV with DVD and video
Flat 7
Situated on the top floor, the accommodation affords some sea views and offers
two bedrooms and family bathroom, ideal for 4-6 people with the sofa bed in the
living room. The spacious master bedroom has a king-size bed and the
second bedroom has bunk beds, with the bathroom including a bath with shower
attachment. The bright “turret style” living room with five windows
hosts a sofa, sofa bed and dining table and chairs, topped off by a TV and
video. The fully fitted kitchen has a gas hob/electric oven,
fridge/freezer, microwave oven and washing machine.
Flat 5
Located on the first floor, ideal for 4-6 people , Flat 5 offers a double
bedroom and a twin (3ft) bedded room, along with a sofa bed in the living room.
The fully fitted kitchen has a gas hob/electric oven, fridge and microwave oven
and the bathroom offers a bath with shower attachment and toilet and wash basin.
The living room has a dining table and chairs, TV/DVD, as well as the sofa bed
and arm chairs
