Golfing Holidays

Holy Hedge Farm is adjacent to Bulbury Golf Course which offers a challenging 18 hole course with spectacular views towards Poole Harbour and the Isle of Purbeck. Although only built in 1989 the course has plenty of character and precision is definitely more important than power as you wind through ancient woodlands and gentle undulations. A warm welcome and efficient service awaits in the exceptional quality Clubhouse, which offers impressive bar and restaurant facilities, and great views over the 18th. There are also many other golf courses locally such as Broadstone Golf Course, Canford Magna Golf Course, Parkstone Golf Course, Knighton Heath Golf Course, Ferndown Golf Course and Longham Golf Course.

Poole Quay

Poole Harbour, Dorset in the South of England is being hailed as the St Tropez of the South Coast as lucrative investment spreads along the harbour from the mega-money area of Sandbanks, Canford Cliffs and Lilliput. A bustling Quay, the best beaches in England and the stunning natural harbour make Poole, Dorset a natural first choice on the South Coast. Poole Quay is home to gift shops, leisure boating, cafes, restaurants and many pubs, some with live music. Poole guarantees you an exciting summer getaway.

Sandbanks

Recognised as a prime location for water sports in the United Kingdom, Sandbanks, Poole. The beach at Sandbanks has been awarded both the European 'Blue Flag' and Tidy Britain Group 'Seaside Award' and it is a glorious beach of fine, golden sand, gradual sloping beach with clean, safe water. It is an ideal place to visit with or without children.

Monkey World

Set amongst the woodland of Dorset lays 65 acres of sanctuary for over 150 primates. Monkey World was set up in 1987 by Jim and Alison Cronin to provide abused Spanish beach chimps with a permanent, stable home. Today Monkey World works in conjunction with foreign governments from all over the world to stop the illegal smuggling of apes out of Africa and Asia. At the park visitors can see more than 150 primates of 15 different species.

Farmer Palmers

Our original dairy farm was diversified to a visitor attraction in 1998 and specially designed for families with children 8 years and under. We are owned & run by the brother & sister team Phillip & Sandra Palmer. In 2006 we were voted Winners of the National Farm Attraction of the Year Award which recognises that we understand that family time is precious in this busy world and that our facilities encourage parents/grandparents to watch their children explore, learn and gain confidence in the fresh air and in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. It is so rewarding to see happy children’s faces.

Adventure Wonderland

It's family heaven in 2007. Adventure Wonderland is brimming with your favourite themes and characters, making it Dorset's Number 1 Theme Park for boys and girls alike. So if you're a would-be Pirate, an intrepid Explorer, a Mad Hatter or just a plain old fashioned Fun Lover, then you and your family have got a real treat in store!
