Hell Barn Cottages - Our five comfortable and spacious holiday cottages in converted 18th Century stone barns are situated in a quiet hollow by Winniford stream in the beautiful Jurassic Coast region of Dorset. The garden looks out over rolling farmland and provides an attractive setting in which to relax at any time of the day.
Each self catering cottage has a spacious lounge/dining room with a colour TV and a well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator and washer/dryer. The bathrooms are fitted with bath and shower, wash basin, with shaving socket and WC. The bedrooms are comfortably furnished and all have wardrobes.
In Chideock turn off the A35 at the Church. Continue to the end of the lane (approx. one mile) and turn right at 'T' junction. After 200 yards fork right into Hell Lane. Hell Farm is at the end on the right.
The nearest beach is only two miles away, part of the beautiful Jurassic coast. It is a pleasant walk from Hell Farm across the fields to Seatown, via Chideock. There are many miles of delightful footpaths to explore, including the fine coastal path with its breathtaking views.
Within a few minutes drive is the old rope-making town of Bridport with its harbour of West Bay offering boating and sea fishing. In the opposite direction are the well known holiday haunts of Charmouth and Lyme Regis.
There are many other attractions within easy reach, including Dorchester, Weymouth and Portland Bill, Bovington with its famous Tank Museum, the Swannery and gardens at Abbotsbury, children's entertainment at Cricket St. Thomas and Crealy, and a host of fine houses and gardens open to the public.
