Fern Down Farm's self catering holiday barn and cottage are situated three quarters of a mile at the end of a private drive. The situation, low light pollution and road noise offer a peaceful and secluded holiday getaway.

A detached 200-year-old stone and slate barn which was converted in 2005 and is set in its own walled courtyard with spectacular views of rural Dorset
The barn is spacious and light, with open plan mezzanine floored design. Disabled friendly with easy level access from car parking along side through front door and French windows in bedroom. The accommodation is flexible – part of the barn can be shut off for 1-4 guests and sleeps up to a total of 10 in 2 double mezzanine bedrooms with en-suite bath/shower rooms. On the ground floor is a twin room bedroom with en-suite wet shower room.
There is a large open plan living room with kitchen/dining area, with a double futon sofa bed and opening picture window with stunning views. The second sitting room has a double futon sofa bed. Full gas central heating and log burning stoves.
Fern Down Cottage is detached and set high on a chalk ridge with superb rural views and sleeps 8 people comfortably
The cottage is spacious, with a sitting room, kitchen and dining room, downstairs loo and separate double bedroom with sofa bed on the ground floor (should sleeping to 10 people be required). Upstairs, around a galleried corridor are two large double bedrooms, one large twin, two bunk beds and a bathroom with shower.
There is both central heating and an open fire. Facilities also include a dishwasher and washing machine and own drive, off-road parking.
Fern Down Farm is situated near Wynford Eagle, a small rural Dorset village at 550 feet above sea level on a chalk ridge overlooking rural west Dorset. Whilst secluded, we are situated only 10 miles from Dorchester, 7 miles from Bridport and 8 miles from the Dorset World Heritage coastline.
