Acorn Cottage is located in the beautiful open country side just outside the charming Dorset village of Chideock. The private, south-facing rear patio looks over a shared lawn towards stunning National trust cliff tops.
The shingle beach at Seatown is a pleasant walk down the valley. Chideock has many thatched cottages, two pubs, one shop, three restaurants and a post office. Supermarkets and a wider range of shops are to be found in nearby Bridport. West Dorset remains a rural delight with lovely undulating scenery, country villages, historic small Towns and a large choice of visitor attractions.
The coastal footpath runs close to Acorn Cottage .Starting in West Bay - setting for TV. series Harbour Lights it crosses over the highest point on the south coast at Golden Cap and on to the lovely harbour at Lyme Regis. Acorn Cottage offers a peaceful and relaxing location set amidst glorious countryside close to the famous fossil cliffs of West Dorset. A perfect base for fascinating days out or just to sit back and enjoy the calming country atmosphere.
