This beautifully restored 3-bedroomed stone cottage at the heart of the unique hill-top Dorset village of Kingston has superb views of Corfe Castle and the surrounding Isle of Purbeck countryside. The Jurassic Coast, a world heritage site, with its dramatic cliffs and remote beaches is a 20-minute walk from the doorstep. The popular beaches of Swanage and Studland are a ten-minute drive away.
The self-catering holiday cottage, which sleeps six people, is carpeted throughout and has a large and comfortable sitting room with a wood-burner.
It has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area which leads out into the attractive garden at the rear with views over the fields.
The first floor consists of a large bedroom with twin beds, the bathroom and a bedroom with bunk beds.
The second floor is the spacious master bedroom with exposed beams.
The famous Purbeck pub, The Scott Arms, where meals are served all day in the summer, is barely 50 yards away for those who like to take a break from cooking
No 7 is a Grade II listed, end of terrace Victorian cottage in the tiny hilltop village of Kingston, which overlooks Corfe Castle in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset.
Kingston has a popular family pub and an impressive church sometimes referred to as the 'cathedral of the Purbecks'. Local eggs and honey can be bought in the village; otherwise the nearest shops are in the village of Corfe Castle.
The accommodation: Small entrance porch with space for coats and boots leads into the large, carpeted sitting room with exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace containing a log burner. TV, video and CD player.
An archway leads into the south facing kitchen/dining area with back door into garden.
Fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and automatic washing machine.
Upstairs on the first floor:
Bedroom 1 with twin beds and stunning view to Corfe Castle and Poole Harbour
beyond.
Bedroom 2 is an L-shaped room overlooking the garden with 3ft bunk beds.
The bathroom has a bath with shower over, wash basin and W.C.
Second floor:
Bedroom 3: Large south facing bedroom with exposed beams. King size bed.
Outside: A short flight of steps leads from the kitchen door to a delightful garden with lawned areas and a set of garden furniture for enjoying the sun. Barbecue.

Night storage heaters and log burner (first basket of logs included; local
charge thereafter).
Public telephone box opposite cottage.
Included in weekly rate:
Electricity. Basket of logs. Bed linen, duvets and pillows, but not towels.
Travel cot, high chair, stair gates - please advise if required.
Regret no pets allowed.
No smoking.
Weekly lets Friday to Friday.
Arrival time after 4pm. Departure time 10am.

The Cottage is perfectly placed for a family beach holiday, with the traditional seaside resort of Swanage, complete with Punch & Judy shows on the sandy beach, a 10 minute drive away.
Well-known Studland beach (National Trust) with its three miles of sand and dunes is a 15 minutes' drive from the cottage.
The unusual bay at Kimmeridge with its fossils and underwater Marine Wildlife Reserve can also be reached within quarter of an hour by car, whilst, nearer to home, the cove of Chapman's Pool is only half an hour's walk from No. 7.
Kingston is surrounded by outstanding walking country, both inland and on the coastal path.
It is a nature-lover's paradise, with deer, hares, owls and other wildlife easily spotted.
Rare species of reptiles and birds thrive on the nearby heathlands and the RSPB reserve at Arne is a ten minutes' drive.
The spectacular coastline to the south of the cottage has recently been designated a World Heritage Site for its notable geological features, and can be reached on foot within half an hour.
