The cottage retains a wealth of old-world charm with a Wood Burning fireplace in the spacious lounge. there are three bedrooms sleeping up to five people. A well fitted kitchen and large dining conservatory enjoying stunning views. There are two bath rooms one on the ground floor with shower and the master bathroom upstairs. The cottage is situated along a private driveway with a large private parking area. There are two gardens, the main garden has a patio / BBQ area with views across open fields with a further rear courtyard garden catching the morning sun.
Our Stone Cottage is a beautiful traditional Derbyshire stone cottage set in the heart of the Peak District. Enjoying stunning views of Riber Castle (above) and surrounded by open fields. Visit Matlock, Mattock Bath, Bakewell, Chatsworth, Ashbourne, Wintser, Hathersage, Buxton plus many more. If all else fails is only 100 yds from the local Real Ale Pub!
The Peak District National Park is the England’s oldest national park and has plenty of things to do during your holidays. There are traditional Derbyshire stone villages to walk around with many cozy tea shops and the famous Bakewell Pudding shops, plus endless countryside walks, tough mountain biking and of course lots of traditional real Ale pubs!
Our Stone Cottage is a traditional Derbyshire Stone Cottage once an old farm house. It has been tastefully renovated to provide all of the mod cons without loosing the traditional atmosphere.
We have a large lounge area with a flat screen TV and DVD plus a wood burning fire for you to relax at the end of the day.
There is a fantastic dining conservatory with stunning views across the valley and the large main garden.
A modern Kitchen with a Belfast Sink and wooden floors. Also a range size gas cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer. Plus a wood burning fire to make it toasty in the winter. In addition there is a utility room with down stairs toilet and additional shower, plus washing machine, dryer and boot room.
At the other end of the kitchen is a breakfast room conservatory, enjoying the morning sun and looks out to the rear court yard garden.
The private rear garden is accessed via a lockable gate and is totally secure.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, two large doubles and a single plus a modern bathroom with toilet bath and powerful shower.
Outside is a private driveway with parking for several cars, a large main garden surrounded by open fields with private patio / BBQ area. Plus the rear courtyard garden.
