A very warm welcome to the outstanding 4 and 5 star self catering holiday cottages at Blakelow Farm in Derbyshire's beautiful Peak District National Park.

With spectacular views to Chatsworth House, our gorgeous, multi award winning self catering accommodation provides a fabulous retreat for guests who want to get away from it all. Somewhere you can escape from the hustle and bustle and wake up to the sound of the countryside in the beautiful Peak District, somewhere quiet and peaceful but at the same time undoubtedly luxurious.

Our holiday cottages are the stylishly converted barns of the 200 year old Blakelow Farm. Set amidst 8 acres of glorious paddocks and gardens, the self catering cottages provide stylish rural accommodation nestling on the moor side of the Peak District National Park, just one mile from the pretty conservation village of Winster.

At Blakelow we aspire to excel in everything we do, whilst remaining friendly and unassuming. We pride ourselves on offering our guests a Derbyshire cottage that is luxurious but comely, genteel yet chic and stylish, a real home from home.

We have four luxury self catering holiday cottages for you to choose from:

Chestnut cottage -

Ideal for the single traveller, Chestnut Cottage is named after the large Horse Chestnut tree it sits under, and is "just for one".

Converted from the pigsty, the cottage infuses charm and character and has all you need for a relaxing stay.

The property is all on one level, you enter into the kitchen which is modern light and airy and still has one of the stone feeding toughs in the feature exposed limestone wall.

The sitting room has a vaulted ceiling, beams and has a very sweet dining table and chairs. Views from the sitting room are over the large garden, and fields beyond.

The bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and dressing table. From the bedroom you have a very well appointed shower room with hand rails and seat.

Candle Cottage -

You enter this luxury self catering cottage from the gravel and flag stone courtyard into the splendid sitting and dining room with its vaulted ceiling and wooden floors. The exposed grit stone gable wall houses the fireplace and log burning stove. Large French doors lead onto the west facing terrace for evening drinks after a relaxing day in the beautiful Peak District.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay. Also on the ground floor is the luxury bathroom with shower over the bath, hand basin and WC.

Stairs from the sitting room lead to the beautiful galleried bedroom furnished with antique walnut furniture and a king-size bed.

Christmas Cottage -

As you enter Christmas Cottage from the courtyard into the spacious sitting room/dining area you will see the large grit stone fireplace, the log burning stove is surrounded by a comfy leather suite which invites you to curl up and admire the view of the gardens and in the distance Chatsworth House.

There is a well-equipped, open plan kitchen with French doors leading to the east facing terrace, ideal for those alfresco meals. The ground floor bathroom has a shower over the bath, hand basin and WC.

Stairs lead from the sitting room up to the bedrooms, one with a double bed and views over the stables and countryside beyond, the other has two single beds, which can be linked together. There is a further shower room with, hand basin and WC on this floor.

Cranberry Cottage -

Standing at the head of the courtyard. You enter the cottage into a spacious sitting room and dining area, the room has windows on all sides. A picture window in the dining area has views across the courtyard and the countryside beyond. The sitting room has a grit stone fireplace with electric fire, two elegant sofas, stylish lamp tables and décor, the French door leads onto a lovely south facing terrace where you can breakfast in the warm sunshine.

There is a step up to the large, well equipped kitchen. The ground floor bathroom is large, light and modern, including a walk-in shower, hand basin and WC. The stairs lead to the two bedrooms, both with double beds and stunning views over the surrounding countryside.
