Bron-y-Graig's Stables in Corwen, North Wales, has recently been converted into a luxury 5-star self catering holiday cottage for rent, and is equipped and furnished to a high standards. Set in the beautiful Dee Valley between Llangollen, Bala and Betws-y-Coed, it is the ideal base for exploring Snowdonia, Chester and North Wales Castles and Coast
The Stables sleeps up to 7 adults. Upstairs in the former hayloft are two generous en-suite bedrooms, each with TV & Video, and a separate cloakroom.
Downstairs the horses' stalls have given way to a large beamed sitting room with inglenook fireplace, 2 sofas and a sofa bed, TV, DVD and Video, music system and a selection of books, CDs and videos.
The fully equipped kitchen/diner includes freezer and microwave, and there is a separate laundry room.
All bed linen and towels are provided, and we have cots and highchairs for young visitors. Well-behaved dogs are most welcome at this pet-friendly holiday cottage and there are many pleasant walks from the Stables.

The area offers all types of activities including walking, climbing, tree-top rope walks, fishing, canoeing, white water rafting, mountain biking, quad bikes, off-road motor biking and 4x4 exploring.
Great Walking Country
Bron-y-Graig is ideal for the Clwydian Way, the Dee Valley Way and now the North
Berwyn Way, recently opened. This area offers a wealth of relatively
undiscovered walks, and there are pleasant walks from Bron-y-Graig itself –
leave your car and stroll out for the day with one our generous packed lunches.

Peace and Quiet
In this unspoilt valley you can see buzzards from our windows and hear owls at
night. Within an hour’s drive are the beauties of Bodnant Garden, Pistyll
Rhaeadr waterfall and the charms of Portmeirion Italian Village
Llangollen Railway, Canal Boats, farm-parks and go-karting ¬are among the many attractions nearby that will appeal to children and teenagers. There is also Chester Zoo, Colwyn Bay Mountain Zoo, the exciting Llechwedd Slate Caverns, and the beaches of the North Wales coast.
Potter in the little shops of Llangollen and Bala, or head for the outlet centres – Tweedmill at St Asaph or Cheshire Oaks at Ellesmere Port. For big town shopping Chester is a must, or try the Victorian flavour of Llandudno.
North Wales is home to some of the best-preserved and most romantically-sited medieval castles in Britain – Harlech, Criccieth, Conwy and Caernarfon are all within easy reach. Closer to home are the 19th splendours of Erddig and Chirk.
