Woolstore Cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Keswick
dating back to the 1700's. It has all modern amenities, two good
sized bedrooms, both en-suite, and a south facing patio area. It also has
enclosed private parking.
Woolstore Cottage retains much of its original character and has been completely
refurbished throughout and is very comprehensively equipped. It is let on
a weekly basis but some short breaks may be available in the low season.
The open-plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room has a fully equipped modern kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. For relaxing after a day's exploring there is a Freeview LCD TV, DVD/video recorder and a mini HiFi system. The dining area has pine furniture with a welsh dresser containing a selection of books, games, videos, maps and local walks.
There is a useful Under stairs Storage Room with a washer/dryer. The front of the cottage is south facing and has a rockery with Patio and garden furniture.
The Master Bedroom on the second floor has pine furnishings with a King-size bed, original stone fireplace, vaulted beamed ceiling and a fitted wardrobe. This room also has a wall mounted 'Freeview' TV. The en-suite bathroom has a WC, wash basin and a Spa bath with a thermostatically controlled shower above.
The Second Bedroom is on the first floor and has pine furnishings and two single beds, original stone fireplace, beamed ceiling and a wardrobe. The en-suite room has a WC, wash basin and a thermostatically controlled shower.
Also on the first floor, is a separate small WC with wash basin and on the ground floor is an entrance lobby with coat hooks.
