Ullswater House is located in the centre of Glenridding in the heart of the Ullswater Valley. The building dates back to the 1900s when the village was thriving during the historic days of Greenside Lead Mine.

The property is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and commands spectacular views over Lake Ullswater and to the surrounding mountains.

This spacious and comfortable property is ideal for a two family holiday or for groups of up to ten people. From the doorstep of the property there are many picturesque walks ranging from the famous Helvellyn range of mountains to the more gentle, undulating valleys in the area. A short walk from the property will take you to the shores of Lake Ullswater.

From here the 'Steamers' run daily trips between Glenridding, Pooley Bridge and Howtown. There is also many other activities including - windsurfing, sailing, rowing boats and bike hire but to name a few. Just a short drive from Glenridding is the Rookin House Equestrian & Activity Centre providing indoor and outdoor activities for all the family.

Ullswater House is ideally located for walking enthusiasts and country lovers alike or for those people who just want to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery. The bustling market towns of Penrith, Keswick and Kendal are all within half an hours drive.

Ullswater House at Glenridding offers superb self catering group accommodation for 2 to 10 people.

First Floor - Double bedroom with a lake view and a second double bedroom. Two triple bedrooms each with three single beds, one with a lake view. Spacious shower room with shower cubicle, W/C and wash basin.

Second Floor - Open plan layout with lounge/dining area (lake and mountain views), electric flame effect fire, TV, VCR, DVD, CD and radio. Kitchen area with electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Utility/drying room with washer/dryer and ironing facilities. Bathroom with shower over bath, large cubicle shower, WC and wash basin.

Outside - Patio area with seating overlooking stream. Parking for one car outside and a further three cars just 50 yards away.

Property Details - Oil-fired central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels all provided. A cot and highchair are available at no extra cost. Guests with their own laptop may access the free wireless broadband internet service.
