Ullswater House is located in the centre of Glenridding in the heart of the Ullswater Valley. The building dates back to the 1900s when the village was thriving during the historic days of Greenside Lead Mine.

picturesque walks ranging from the famous Helvellyn range of mountains to the
more gentle, undulating valleys in the area. A short walk from the property will
take you to the shores of Lake Ullswater.
From here the 'Steamers' run daily trips between Glenridding, Pooley Bridge and
Howtown. There is also many other activities including - windsurfing, sailing,
rowing boats and bike hire but to name a few. Just a short drive from
Glenridding is the Rookin House Equestrian & Activity Centre providing indoor
and outdoor activities for all the family.
