Fisher Gill is a cottage apartment with a character all of its own, having been created from the ground floor of the original farm worker's cottage, It is our most popular cottage for honeymoons and romantic escapes.Step through the porch and you enter a well presented living area with a newly fitted log burning stove, and lovely big soft leather settees on which to stretch out and relax. Just beyond the dining area is a separate pine fitted kitchen - but do watch your head as you go through!
Several Cumbrian artists' work feature in Fisher Gill, including a tapestry by June Stock and a spectacular rustic mirror from Ian Worthington.
The bedroom suite comprises a large dressing room and adjoining bedroom with a gorgeous draped four poster bed. A pretty bathroom with a corner air spa bath is adjacent.
Mickle Rigg Cottage is a former single storey barn which has been superbly converted into a cosy cottage for two, featuring the original oak beams and a log burning stove.The open plan, vaulted roofed living and dining area has pleasant views across the paddock. A stylish new kitchen sits in one corner.
Mickle Rigg now has a stunning newly fitted bathroom, featuring the only water jet spa bath in our couples' cottages.
The high roofed bedroom has a delightful four poster bed squeezed in between its beams.
Tapestries by June Stock alongside a collection of Beryl Cook prints add the final touches to this attractive cottage.

Chapel Beck is our Lake District chill-out cottage apartment for couples, complete with its own sauna suite.

The cottage also has a collection of original Cumbrian artwork, including a tapestry from June Stock and a magnificent print over the stairs from Rachel Kelly, as well a selection of classic Kandinsky prints which reflect the feel of the modern decor.
The bedroom features a super king-size bed with a luxurious canopy above - several customers have demanded to know the manufacturer of this bed before leaving!

Cloven Stone Cottage is specially designed for two couples holidaying together or families with older children.On the ground floor of this impressive five star Lake District cottage are two double bedrooms, each with a full en-suite bathroom. One of these bedrooms can also be configured as a twin bedroom.
Upstairs is a spacious living area with soft leather furniture, a log burning stove and magnificent 30 mile views. Open plan to the living area is a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen.
Walk out of the living area straight on to an elevated private balcony with your own hot tub bubbling away ready for use. The cottage also has a small patio area in the courtyard.

Brae Fell Cottage is an imaginative conversion of a large ancient Lake District barn which simply oozes character.The ground floor has a spacious dining room with a fully equipped, newly fitted kitchen alongside. The open tread stairs lead directly to a stunning living room with atmospheric old beams, exposed stonework and three large soft leather sofas. Adjacent to the living room is a second smaller sitting area ideal for reading and board games.
There are two self contained bedroom suites, one upstairs and one downstairs, each with a private hallway leading to a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. Both bathrooms have been completely refitted to our highest standard, with the upstairs one featuring the ultimate aid to relaxation - a chromatherapy (multi coloured light therapy) water jet spa bath.
