Court Farm and its Farmhouse and collection of delightful self catering holiday cottages are superbly situated in the heart of the village of Marhamchurch, only 2 miles from Widemouth Bay’s renowned surfing beach and the stunning North Cornwall coastline.

The accommodation ranges from barn conversions set around a pretty courtyard, whitewashed cottages and cottage style houses with private gardens, accommodating 4 – 7 people, to two farmhouses (the largest, Northcott Farmhouse wonderfully secluded at our other working farm 3 miles away) that accommodate up to 11 & 17 people respectively.

This is the perfect choice for a self catering holiday in Cornwall - whether it is for a family, group or couple - Court Farm combines the best of countryside and coast, with picturesque walks, cycling trails, excellent golf courses, wonderful surfing coastline, bird-watching, wildlife and unspoilt scenery, all virtually on the doorstep.

Court Farm is very much part of the community. It is within a few paces of the Village Inn, Post office & Shop and set amongst the quaint cottages and houses of whitewashed stone which surround the village’s splendid historic church. Within ten minutes you can enjoy 5 blue flag beaches, go fishing (sea, lake or canal), play golf, go horse-riding, walk along the beautiful coastal paths, explore the countryside on foot or by bicycle, or search the shops for a bargain or two in the local town of Bude.

We are open all year round, (the indoor swimming pool is kept heated) cater for all ages and offer week by week holidays or short breaks (see our special offers page). We can guarantee that whatever the season you will have a memorable holiday here with us.

We believe its very important to equip our cottages to create a home from home experience, therefore all properties have bed linen, TVs, DVDs (most also have video players), CD Plyers, fully fitted kitchens (incl microwave, dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryers). Towel hire can also be arranged (£2/set). Cots and highchairs also available at request. All Gas and electricity is included within the price so there are no hidden charges

The Farmhouse is situated at the heart of Court Farm and contains many original features, individual character and charm, parts of the farmhouse are 300 years old!

After entering the porch to the left is the spacious lounge with gas woodburner in a large Cornish stone fireplace. The adjoining large dining room also has an original inglenook fireplace with ornamental stove, the furniture and decor have been kept traditional so providing a good feel of the old farmhouse environment.

There is however a modern, well equipped shaker style kitchen next to the dining room (down 2 steps).

On the first floor there are 5 bedrooms, all ensuite except for the twin bedded room which has use of the bathroom with over-bath shower along the landing. There are two double bedrooms and two further double bedrooms (one with cast iron bed) with an additional single bed (for +1) both have a TV.

The farmhouse has its own enclosed garden where you will be able to sit out around the large picnic table on our newly created slate patio area, very popular for enjoying the barbeque.

Like Northcott farmhouse, this house is great for family groups, celebrations, reunions, house parties and golfing holidays. Whatever the occasion, catering can also be arranged upon request.

STABLES (Sleeps 4)
On the ground floor the entrance hall leads to a double bedroom and a bathroom with slate flooring with over-bath shower.

On the first floor there the modern fitted kitchen and open plan beamed living/dining room with countryside views.

Narrow stairs lead to the second floor with twin-bedded room with sloping ceiling and magnificent views.

SHIPPEN Sleeps 4(+1)
Another upside-down cottage with entrance hall leading to two bedrooms; one double with single bed (for +1) and one twin-bedded room.

On the first floor the large window in the kitchen/dining area has great views of the surrounding countryside, whilst the windows overlooking the courtyard let in plenty of light. This floor is again open plan and includes the lounge and a bathroom with over-bath shower.

GRANARY Sleeps 6(+1)
This cottage is the largest of our barn conversions, with two doubles (one with a four poster) and one with a single bed (for +1) it also has a good sized twin-bedded room. The bathroom has a slated floor and contains a good sized shower unit.

On the first floor we have created an open plan kitch/dining are and a very spacious lounge area with large TV. There is also a second bathroom with over-bath shower.

The barn also enjoys lovely views of our countryside rolling out towards the coast.

MILL HOUSE (Sleeps 5)
The open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area is on the ground floor in this cottage and has leather sofas and a large TV.

On the first floor there is a spacious double bedroom and the bathroom with over-bath shower

Stairs lead to the second floor which contains cosy little single and twin rooms with sloping ceilings and magnificent views

PARLOUR (Sleeps 4)
Entrance is through the porch into an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge. Two bedrooms, one double and one twin-bedded. Bathroom/WC with over-bath shower (tiled floor through to kitchen).

HAYLOFT (Sleeps 4)
Next to the Parlour, the entrance is through the porch into an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge. Two bedrooms, one double and one twin-bedded. Bathroom/WC with over-bath shower (tiled floor through to kitchen).

The local town of Bude is only 10 minutes away by car, or by foot along the picturesque canal path, offering gorgeous beaches one with a safe seawater swimming pool, shops, golf course, horse-riding and “splash” indoor leisure centre. There are also a supermarket and a wide selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants and nightlife for your evening’s entertainment.

Other picturesque villages nearby include Boscastle and Tintagel, and a little further afield are Wadebridge, Padstow where the Camel-trail linking the two offers miles of exploration by foot or bicycle. The famous Eden Project is also within easy reach by car.

There is also a choice of three moors are within an hour’s drive and grants opportunities for excellent walking and mountain biking, whilst the Tamar Lakes are just a few miles inland. The Lower Tamar Lake offers course fishing, bird-watching and shoreline walking, while the upper Tamar Lake provides facilities for a range of water sports including sailing, windsurfing and canoeing (with instruction).
