Middlestone Chapel - This historic Methodist Chapel has been tastefully renovated to retain its original character, whilst featuring a range of modern day benefits including LCD televisions in each bedroom, a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and gas fired central heating.

The detached converted chapel is set in the tiny hamlet of Middlestone with its own CAMRA award winning village pub run by the owners, 50 yards from The Chapel. You will find friendly villages and open countryside which is ideal for walking, cycling, fishing and climbing surround the tiny village.

Centrally located to explore the surrounding counties, The Chapel dates back to 1895 and has been tastefully converted to provide spacious, relaxing accommodation with magnificent countryside views from the chapel shaped windows and pretty garden - the ideal place to relax.

The Chapel is certainly a very comfortable 'home from home' that once you have visited, you will wish to return to again and again.

The cottages are located in the district of Wear Valley, in the Durham Dales. The magnificence of the Wear Valley environment is nationally recognised, with much of the area lying in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Once the hunting grounds for the Prince Bishops of Durham, the district is considered by many to be the most attractive of the Durham Dales and it provides a spectacular setting and backdrop for a range of outdoor pursuits including walking and cycling which remain the most popular.
