Carnwidden Farm is a family run business situated at the end of a long tree-lined driveway. It is surrounded by 24 acres of its own grounds, in the picturesque countryside of Cornwall, England in the UK. We are located just outside Falmouth and are within 15 minutes of Truro, Helston and The Lizard Peninsula.
The farm buildings have been completely redeveloped to the highest of standards and fitted to a very high specification assuring your comfort throughout your stay. Across the courtyard from the main house, the self-catering accommodation comprises of two detached, newly converted barns.
Guests staying for 1 week or more can expect a complimentary 'Welcome Basket' with samples of local Cornish produce - cheeses, cottage loaves, fudge and yogurt. We also provide a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar and milk.
Being in a convenient location just outside Falmouth, Carnwidden can offer you a superb base from which to explore Cornwall. We are close to Stithians lake, with its variety of water sports and dinghy sailing. Ships and Castles in Falmouth offer swimming and fitness facilities. We are half an hour drive to the Eden Project and a little further for Tintagel, home of King Arthur. Take a helicopter ride or sail to the Isles of Scilly. Visit the artistic community in St Ives and the Tate Gallery. Cultural, historical and scientific - it's all here waiting to be found.

kitchen with all modern appliances is off to one side, with tasteful
modern units and pleasant views overlooking paddocks and farmland. A
feature wrought iron balcony overlooks the stairwell leading to the
ground floor.

Dove Cottage - With a high canopied ceiling and beams, this barn has been thoughtfully converted to include a lounge-diner and open-plan kitchen leading through 2 double glazed doors to its own private tree-lined garden. With views across the yard to the stable complex and fields to the rear, it features unusual solid wood window sills. With a wrought iron gallery and hand rail, the fully carpeted stairs lead to the ground floor.
With a porch entrance for coat & boot removal the accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms, 1 with twin beds and a well designed shower room.
To the rear of the barn at first floor level leading from the living area, the garden is laid as part patio and part lawn, with mature trees to one side and gateway leading to the fields beyond for those wishing to take a stroll around the Farm.
