Coldham Cottages

All of our cottages are fitted out to a high standard with all the comforts of home. The kitchens include electric cookers,  microwaves, dishwashers and washer driers.  In each cottage you will have the choice of bath or shower and the heating is fully adjustable for your comfort.  The living area includes colour television and DVD, CD player and payphone. Outside each cottage there is a patio area with garden furniture and the use of a barbeque.  Pets are by prior arrangement only.

Wireless Broadband Internet connection is available for those with a computer wishing to stay in touch.

Coldham farm is a working arable farm growing mainly Wheat and Oilseed Rape. It is run by the Felce Family who have been farming in the village for five generations.

This farm diversification project has been supported by DEFRA and EEDA.

From the A6

from South via Bedford or from North via Rushden.

 

On the A6 between Bedford and Rushden, near Sharnbrook there is a roundabout.  Turn here in the direction of Thurleigh Airfield Business Park.  On this road take the second left.

After about 2miles you'll pass through the village of Riseley. At the far end you'll get to the school and the garage, After these and just after passing the national speed limit signs Coldham Cottages are on the right.

 

From the B645 

from St Neots and the East.

 

In Stonely near Kimbolton, turn onto the B660 towards Bedford.  At Pertanhall turn Right towards Swineshead and Riseley.  Approaching Riseley just before you reach the 30mph sign Coldham Cottages are on the Left.

Just a short drive north of Bedford with good roads in all directions there is lots to see and do.

The nearby towns and cities of Bedford, Cambridge, Northampton and Milton Keynes offer much, including sightseeing and museums, shopping, theatres, cinemas as well as other business, entertainment and sporting facilities.

Grafham Water, Woburn Abbey Safari, Althorp, Shuttleworth and Duxford Air Museums are all easy drives away.

Locally there is also clay pigeon shooting, Horse riding, Motor racing, Indoor Skydiving using Vertical Wind Tunnel, Gliding and water sports. There are also many places to walk or ride a bike.
