Hidcote Boyce is a quiet
hamlet less than three miles from Chipping Campden with its shops, public houses
and both continental and English restaurants. One of England's finest gardens is
also to be discovered at Hidcote Manor (National Trust). This holiday cottage is
an ideal location for touring and walking in the Cotswolds, visiting the grand
country houses and theatres at nearby Stratford-on-Avon. Cycle hire and horse
riding are also available locally.
The cottage is full of character and charm, with its beams,
stone walls and steps. The country style kitchen is equipped with dishwasher,
microwave, electric hob/oven, fridge and freezer. The large sitting room has a
cottage style suite, inglenook fireplace with wood burner, colour TV, DVD and
video. The dining room with radio and CD player has french windows which open
onto a patio area with the enclosed garden beyond of lawns and shrubs. The

Hidcote Boyce is a
picturesque, peaceful hamlet with its old houses and cottages, near to Chipping
Campden which is known for its antique shops, good pubs and restaurants. The
village is within easy driving distance of many famous beauty spots, historic
houses and gardens. Cycle hire and horse riding are also available nearby.
Box Tree Cottage is a
quiet and cosy terraced cottage with its own front garden, complete with garden
furniture, access is along a shared path past a thatched cottage. The front door
leads into a flag stone floored sitting/dining room of great character with
beamed ceilings and cast iron multi-fuel stove set in a Cotswold stone inglenook
fire place. There is a colour TV, video player, and radio with CD and tape
player. The small yet well equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge with
freezing compartment, microwave, coffee maker, electric toaster, washing machine
and ironing equipment.
The winding stairs lead up to a double bedroom and bathroom with
hand-held shower attachment, WC and wash hand basin. A further flight of narrow
stairs takes you up to a single bedroom which has sloping ceilings and exposed
beams.
Weston Subedge is a village situated close to Chipping Campden and Broadway. Nearby is Dovers Hill, a natural limestone amphitheatre, which is the venue for Robert Dovers annual 'Olimpick' Games.
Lychgate Cottage provides
an ideal base for touring Cotswold sights, picturesque villages, grand country
houses, some notable gardens and wildlife parks. Horse riding and cycle hire are
available nearby. The cotswold stone cottage complete with old bell tower, was
originally part of the village school and is situated opposite the Thirteenth
Century church of St Lawrence.
A large front door opens into a spacious hall containing a
cloakroom, WC and hand basin. The dining room with radio, CD and tape player,
leads through to a comfortable sitting room with colour TV, DVD, video, and gas
coal-effect cast-iron stove for chilly evenings. The spacious fitted kitchen/
breakfast room is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, gas
hob & electric oven, and the separate utility room contains a sink unit and,
washing machine, tumble drier, ironing equipment and freezer, also a door to the
rear garden.
Upstairs, the main double
bedroom has exposed beams and roof trusses. The two twin bedded rooms are both
comfortably furnished. The bathroom is fitted with an over-bath thermostatic
shower, a wash hand basin and a WC.
At the rear of the cottage there is an enclosed garden with garden furniture and
beyond this is the Village green with a children's play area.
Ebrington is a delightful
village with its thatched roofs, village green and public house. It is ideally
situated for visiting the many beautiful and historic areas in and around the
Cotswolds.
Chipping Campden is 2 miles away, and a short drive will take you to Broadway
and its tower from which panoramic views of the countryside can be seen.
Pump Cottage is to be found at the heart of the village, with the old water pump
in the front garden
From the kitchen, the back door leads into an extensive rear
garden. The downstairs bathroom has a bath with shower, wash hand basin and WC.
On the first floor both the double and single bedroom are comfortably furnished.
Chipping Campden is one of
the most beautiful of all the historic Cotswold market towns, and is well known
for its traditional Cotswold architecture, aspects of which date back to the
Middle Ages. There is a good range of shops that cater for most everyday needs,
also an abundance of continental and English restaurants and pubs.
Whistlers Corner is a Victorian semi-detached cottage,
principally constructed of Cotswold stone under a slate roof. The cottage is two
minutes walk from the High Street and has recently been refurbished to a high
standard.
The kitchen/breakfast room is equipped with washing machine, and ironing
equipment, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, microwave and gas cooker.
The sitting room has a gas log effect stove, pine shutters, colour TV, DVD,
video and CD player, dining table, chairs and three piece suite.
On the first floor the main bedroom has a double and a single
bed, wash hand basin and a built in wardrobe. The second bedroom also has a
double bed, both being comfortably furnished.
The bathroom is fitted with an over bath shower, wash hand basin and W.C.
Outside at the side of the cottage there is a secluded patio area with garden chairs and table, also further garden area at the front.
