Stapleford Hall Cottage - This delightful self-catering
cottage is set in the grounds of historic Stapleford Hall. The Hall, built in
1789 is only six miles from the Roman City of Chester, England. The grounds are
set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside and are within easy reach of The Welsh
Snowdonia National Park, The North Wales beaches and the well known Cities of
Liverpool and Manchester. The cottage, originally a barn, has been completely
renovated with a grant from the English Tourist Board. It is peacefully situated
with its own entrance and parking on a spacious cobbled courtyard.
The ground level garden cottage is furnished to a high standard. It has fitted
carpets, storage heaters and lovely old pine doors. The south facing sitting
room is comfortably furnished having an open fireplace and colour television.
French windows open onto a private patio garden with garden chairs, and
overlooking open fields with views of Beeston Castle, Peckforton Castle and the
Welsh Hills. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin bedded.
The well-equipped modern kitchen has an
electric cooker, microwave, fridge, toaster, electric kettle, pans, cutlery and
china. There is a modern bathroom with shower, shaving point and airing
cupboard. There is also a washing machine.
Stapleford Hall, built in 1789, is a beautiful Georgian
farmhouse listed for historic and architectural interest in peaceful attractive
countryside. It is set spaciously within trees surrounded by lawns and large
gardens and its own 250 acre Prizewinning dairy farm.
