Inglenook Cottage enjoys an idyllic location in the charming village of Ashton Hayes in Cheshire. There is a local pub only 200 yards away (good food and children welcome) and the nearest local community shop with bakery and post office is even closer.
Many footpaths, cycle trails, bridle paths including the sandstone trail and Delamere forest are right on the doorstep. Just 15 minutes away lies Chester, with its fine shops and restaurants, cathedral, zoo, amphitheatre, racecourse, medieval timber-framed galleried streets, and the finest complete set of surviving Roman city walls in the country.
Tatton Park, Beeston Castle and Little Moreton Hall are all within easy reach. North Wales coast 20 miles. Several golf courses (some championship) are within 5 miles. Horse riding and coarse fishing is available locally.
