Court lodge is a 19th century detached barn conversion which has retained much of the character of the original building but now offers every modern convenience that would be expected of luxury holiday accommodation. The lodge is situated within the grounds of Court Farm which dates back to the 16th century.
Set in the tranquil hamlet of Ledsham Village the lodge enjoys a truly rural setting with the benefits of many large attractions within a few miles. The location of Court Lodge is an Ideal base for touring both North Wales and the Wirral peninsula. Local attractions include the Roman City of Chester with its famous ghost tours five miles to the south, the beauty of the mountains of North Wales to the west and a host of other visitor attractions nearby which include Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village, The Blue Planet Aquarium, Ness Gardens, Ellesmere Port Boat Museum now known as the 'National Waterways Museum' and the vibrant city of Liverpool. Court Lodge is ideally situated for visitors to Leahurst veterinary facility both for students & people bringing their animals for treatment there.
There are a vast array of pubs within a few miles radius and there is a cinema complex ,bowling alley and numerous restaurants at nearby Cheshire Oaks.
There are several small fisheries locally that offer day permits for Anglers
of all abilities with sea fishing off the Wirral Coast and the coast of North
Wales.
Court lodge is a completely self contained unit offering comfortable sleeping accommodation for up to six people there is one double bedroom one double or twin room and a full size sofa bed in the lounge which sleeps two people in comfort.
The first floor bathroom has a toilet, full size bath with a separate power shower enclosure and there is another toilet downstairs.
The kitchen diner is fully fitted and has an integrated dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, full size fridge freezer, electric hob and full size oven and microwave. there are a comprehensive range of cooking utensils to suit most culinary needs. Outside there is a delightful private patio area with garden furniture and barbeque, all surrounded by well maintained mature gardens. The lounge has two comfy leather sofas with a feature fireplace for those cosy nights in and TV with digital TV, Dvd player and access to broadband
For our younger visitors the Lodge comes complete with a cot, high chair & stair gate to save having to bring these along
Ample parking is provided around the property. Guests are asked to note our arrival & departure times which are ; after 3:00pm on day of arrival and before 11:00 am on day of departure in order for us to clean & prepare the cottage for our next guests
Oil fired central heating and double glazing ensures that Court lodge is warm and welcoming all year round. All bed linen and towels are provided
