Broad Oak Farm is a 150 year old working dairy farm set in the beautiful tranquil countryside of Cheshire.
Our 2 static holiday homes offer comfortable accommodation at affordable prices with plenty to do and see for all ages. We are in an ideal location for exploring the rural countryside, with the famous Sandstone trail right on our doorstep. The Peckforton and Bickerton hills offer amazing walks for all abilities and provide magnificent views of the Cheshire Plains and beyond.
Only a minute in the car, or a 15 minute walk away, we have the acclaimed Cheshire Ice Cream Farm with over 30 different flavours which are a treat for both young and old. It also has recently opened its Crazy Daisy Play barn and animal area, which allows even the rainiest of days to be fun and exciting. Also we are close to the Cheshire Candle workshops for you to have a quiet amble around or perhaps take afternoon tea of lunch in their cafe. For the children, they can have a go at making their own candle, try hand waxing, and lots of other activities.
For the more adventurous we have a mountain boarding centre a couple of miles away along with a skateboard park.
The historic city of Chester is a 15 minute drive away and is home to all the high street shops plus lots of small boutiques and curio shops to keep all interests happy. It is the home of the famous 'Rows' where wonderful one off shops can be found set in the city walls.
Should you decide to have a lazy day Broad Oak Farm has its own fully stocked course fishing pit which can be used free of charge to guests staying with us.
All guests are welcome to watch the cows being milked and if lucky may even get to see a calf being born. Some of our calves are bottle fed which children love to see. Also we have 'Our Girls' the free range chickens which wander the farm and especially like to greet our guests when they 1st arrive!
Broad Oak Farm can offer something for everyone and aims to make our guests stay as pleasant as possible. Most of our business is now from customers that come to us year after year which we pride ourselves on.
Our 2 static homes have their own lawned area perfect for relaxing on a summer evening.
Both homes offer a double bedroom, 2 single rooms, and a further pull out double bed in the living area. They can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children, or 2 adults and 4 children.
The spacious interior consists of a living area with TV and DVD player, a fully fitted kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, and fridge, and bathroom with toilet, hand basin, and shower that can be used as a small bath if required. In caravan 1 the toilet and shower are in separate rooms so ideal if you have young children.
