The Old Stables is a self-catering luxury cottage that , set
in the heart of the market town of Tregaron, just a 12 miles from the bustling
University town of Lampeter in Ceredigion, West Wales. It was originally a
stable that has been converted into a light filled space, with high ceilings and
picture windows with breathtaking the Cambrian Mountains a stones throw away.
The cottage is decorated and furnished to a high standard throughout with many
luxury features. It provides an ideal venue for anyone wanting that very special
holiday. The Cambrian Mountains are a walkers’ paradise and the beautiful
Ceredigion Coast is only a short drive away. The quaint Welsh towns of
Aberystwyth and Carmarthen provide a fascinating day out.

Stone circles and long barrows mark the ancient history of the Land of King Arthur and his knights.
The Old Stables Self Catering Cottage is perfectly situated just a half hour drive to the spectacular Ceredigion Coast line. The area is designated Heritage Coast with wonderful scenery that gives home to some of Britain’s rarest birds and marine species. Bottle nosed Dolphins swim in the bays of Mwnt and New Quay. You could spend every day of your holiday exploring the many bays and coves of this delightful coast, or walk the cliff paths and listen to the call of sea birds.
If your preference is for country walking there are many local trails nearby,
whilst for the more energetic who prefer mountain hiking, the Cambrian Mountains
are on your doorstep.
If yearn for the bustle of town life, the university, market town of Lampeter is
close by with friendly people, interesting small shops and supermarkets, good
restaurants and welcoming pubs. The larger towns of Aberystwyth or Carmarthen
are only forty minutes’ drive away.
