Lying just outside Llanelli in rural
Carmarthenshire, Trepartridge Cottage offers quality self catering accommodation
which sleeps 6 +cot in quiet surroundings but within easy reach of the M4 and
the Carmarthenshire countryside, and ten minutes from one of the best beaches in
Wales (cefn sidan, Pembrey Country Park).
Trepartridge Cottage is a whitewashed converted stable block with beamed ceilings and all mod cons. It sits in a quiet valley next to a smallholding.
We accept pets with prior approval and a
small charge. Around Trepartridge Cottage are several footpaths and bridleways.
We have a badger sett in our woods and buzzards often circle overhead. A
range of birds and wildlife frequent our tranquil valley.
In the immediate vicinity to the cottage is the newly opened Ffos Las Racecourse - less than 5 miles away. Also within a ten minute drive is Pembrey Country Park including Cefn Sidan beach. The nearby Wildlife and Wetlands centre is a great day out for the family, and for golf enthusiasts there are three golf courses within 10 minutes including the Machyns Niklaus golf course (voted Gold medal 2005 in Golf Monthly magazine). The Millenium coastal path is only a short distance away and occupies approximately 10 miles of coastline on the Burry Estuary. The coastal path offers superb views along the length of the gower peninsula.
The living room has a settee, two single armchairs, colour TV with freeview, DVD/Video player, hifi and log fire. Oil fired central heating and double glazing makes Trepartridge Cottage an ideal holiday base throughout the year and our aim is to provide a comfortable home from home.
A set of stairs off the
living room leads to the first floor where there is a double bedroom, a
twin bedroom and a third bedroom with a single bed and a cabin bed. The bathroom
is also situated on the first floor and has a WC, wash-hand basin and a bath
with a shower over. A cot, high
chair and stair gates are available on request.
Trepartridge Cottage is ideally located for visiting some of the top tourist attractions in Wales -
NEW for 2009 Ffos Las Racecourse opening June 18th is less than 5 miles away.
A short hop away is
Pembrey Country Park with a dry ski slope, toboggan run, horse riding, pitch
& putt, adventure playground, crazy golf, miniature railway, visitor centre and
restaurant, and the best beach in Wales at
Cefn Sidan (blue flag and has
lifeguards). At eight miles long and 400 acres there is never a feeling of being
overcrowded; sure to keep the family occupied for ages.
Pembrey Motor Racing Circuit is for the more adventurous - bikes, cars, go karts, lorries and formula Ford racing all happens during the year at this racing circuit; there's also go karting and performance car racing. For the more active, there's also a quad bike circuit and a paint ball area our local village Trimsaran.
