Set on the edge of the village of Brampton, 'The Stables' provides an ideal base when visiting family or friends, working away from home or just enjoying a well earned break.
The apartments are situated in a recently converted stable block located within the grounds of the owner’s property. Each apartment has its own private entrance, allowing guests the flexibility to come and go as they please, along with adjacent car parking and views over the surrounding countryside.
The tastefully converted apartments offer all the comforts of home. The large comfortable beds are made ready for your arrival. Fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries are provided in the en-suite shower rooms.
All apartments have central heating and are serviced regularly throughout your stay. For the comfort of all our guests we operate a no smoking policy.
As well as each apartment having its own private outside space, there is a communal patio/ barbeque area and a grassed paddock area suitable for ball games, picnics etc.
Apartment 1 is a ground floor, single storey apartment with one double bedroom and en suite shower room. There is a sitting room with kitchen and dining area, both rooms have French doors opening on to a small terrace with outside furniture.
Apartment 2 is a duplex style apartment with two bedrooms sleeping maximum of four with room for a cot if required. The bedrooms are on the first floor along with a comfy sitting area and on the ground floor there is a bathroom with shower, kitchen and dining area and additional sitting area.
Tea, coffee, fresh milk, mineral water, fresh fruit and biscuits are to be found in the fully equipped kitchen areas.
Guests who would like breakfast to be provided, will find the fridge stocked with delicious breakfast foods such as eggs, bacon, mushrooms, yogurt and fruit juice as well as a variety of cereals, bread and pastries, to be enjoyed in the comfort and privacy of their apartment.
For a weekend break in the countryside, a comfortable stop-over on a long journey or as a 'base' to explore the local area, The Stables is in a fantastic location.
The Stables is served with excellent road (A1 and A14 close by) and rail links, with the mainline station in Huntingdon (to London Kings Cross) a mile and a half away.
Within walking distance are Brampton Racecourse, Hinchingbrooke Country Park, the village shops, several pubs which serve food and a fish and chip shop!
The local bus service provides easy access to the nearby market towns of St Ives and St Neots.
For those who enjoy outdoor pursuits, Grafham Water is the perfect for sailing, mountain biking, walking or just enjoying a picnic.
The beautiful historic city of Cambridge is a twenty minute drive and the bustling city of Peterborough, with its superb shopping and leisure facilities, is just fifteen minutes by train.
