Brick Row is a Grade 2 Listed terrace in the middle of the village. Brick Row Cottage, No. 26, is a well-appointed self-contained house, sleeping 4, offering all that you need for your holiday or short break in and around Cambridge and East Anglia.

Babraham has very good transport links with Cambridge and the national rail and road networks and enjoys an excellent 16th Century pub serving good food and beer. The cottage has delightful period interiors, a wood burning stove and broadband Internet access.

Brick Row Cottage offers quality accommodation for your family holiday or short break. Furnished to a high standard throughout Brick Row Cottage sleeps four in two double bedrooms. Bed linen, duvets and pillows are provided for your use free of charge. The cottage has broadband Internet access - you can bring your own laptop or use our iMac to browse the web, and keep up with your emails.

The modern kitchen features an electric oven and hob and a combination microwave together with washing machine, dishwasher and a fridge with freezer compartment. All utensils, crockery and cutlery are provided and are of the highest standard. A separate dinning room is located in an attractive conservatory overlooking the garden.

Comfortable living rooms are equipped with colour TV and video player, CD and radio system and features a log burning stove to supplement the central heating system for cosy winter evenings. All heating and power is included.
Brick Row Cottage has a well-appointed main bathroom with shower and bath and a downstairs cloakroom – towels are provided.

The property has a small south facing patio garden and is complete with barbecue and comfortable garden furniture. Unrestricted on-road car parking is available directly in front of the cottage.

Brick Row Cottage is suitable for children and pets by arrangement only – please phone to discuss your needs. The village has a play area.

Unfortunately due to the age and character of the cottage it is not suitable for wheelchair users – there is a small flight of steps between rooms internally and the downstairs cloakroom is not large enough for independent wheelchair access.

Brick Row Cottage provides accommodation and facilities of the highest quality and offers all that you need for your holiday base or quiet break.

Babraham itself, though small, features The George Inn, a convivial 16th Century pub that not only serves excellent food in its own restaurant, gardens and bar, but also prides itself on the quality of its Greene King and guest beers.

Major supermarkets are within easy reach and neighbouring villages offer limited shopping, a selection of take-aways and a range of restaurants. They also provide Health Centres, Dentists and Veterinary practices. Addenbrookes Hospital is 5 miles away.

Babraham is set in open countryside and has easy access into Cambridge by road, public transport and the local Park and Ride scheme.

Babraham is within 10 minutes of the M11 and the main line railway service linking Cambridge with London Liverpool Street – journey times are approximately one hour. Newmarket and its famous racecourses are within 20 minutes; Ely, its Cathedral, and numerous other National Trust properties, Stately Homes and Gardens are also within easy reach. The Imperial War Museum at Duxford, a famous Second World War Battle of Britain airfield,is within 15 minutes, featuring several flying days throughout the year – you might be lucky and get a free fly past of historic aircraft.

Stansted airport is 30 minutes distant with local taxi companies offering economical door-to-door transport.

East Anglia’s other attractions – the North Norfolk Coast, Fenland etc. are easily accessible from Babraham, sitting as it does on the major A11/A14 trunk road network.

The local area offers riverside and Roman Road walking routes incorporating historic and architecturally important sites and rolling Cambridgeshire countryside.
