The cottages face into a walled off section of the stable courtyard and each cottage has its own parking area and large wooden patio table. The communal laundry has a large washing machine and separate heat dryer and a ceiling mounted clothes airer. An iron and ironing board are also provided.
By the duck pond there is an area reserved for guests and a communal patio table and BBQ make this an ideal area for picnicking or just enjoying a relaxing drink. The pond is well stocked with fish and has a resident population of ducks, moorhens, a goose and peacock, whilst in the fields horses and sheep can be found grazing the meadows.
The farm is situated down a quiet no-through country lane and is on the edge of the pretty village of Crafton which is protected as a conservation area. Mentmore Golf and Country Club with its two championship courses and Health and Fitness centre is just a short walk away. A path by the side of the golf course gives views of Mentmore Towers originally built by Lord Rothschild and then meanders through the woods before emerging to open fields giving views across the valley to Ivinghoe Beacon. Walk quietly through the woods and fields to spot rabbits, hares, deer, squirrels, foxes, badgers, grouse and pheasants whilst in the trees look out for kites, woodpigeon and the green woodpecker.
The village of Wing is close by and the shopping facilities of Leighton Buzzard, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes and Dunstable are all a short drive away.
