Each cottage has been equipped to the highest standard, providing the perfect family holiday location from which to enjoy the surrounding Dorset countryside and the Jurassic Coast.
There is easy access to a range of nearby footpaths including both the Hardy Trail and Wessex Way. Bookham Court cottages also provide a gateway to 400 acres of environmentally-sensitive land, including fishing lakes that supply course fishing free of charge. On the farm there is an interactive wildlife hide with remote cameras and a fascinating nature trail to follow.
Only 10 miles from the historic towns of Dorchester and Sherborne, and 20 miles from the traditional seaside town of Weymouth, you're never too far from South Dorset's wonderful sites. Country gardens and wildlife, castles, abbeys and hamlets can be found throughout the local region, with something for everyone just waiting to be discovered
The Wagon house Holiday Cottage,This single storey character Dorset holiday cottage was the original ‘Old Wagon House’.
The spacious sitting room has a galleried ceiling exposing the old beams and an inglenook fireplace with wood burner. The wooden floors are kept warm with under floor heating for your maximum comfort.
The cottage has spectacular views of the Dorset countryside from the patio, across the Blackmore Vale, from where you can watch the deer under the wood, the lambs playing in the field and the Heron on the lake!

Great Coombe boasts wonderful views over the surrounding Dorset countryside. Sit on the patio or the balcony and watch the wildlife without leaving the cottage. Guests regularly see deer, badgers, foxes, Canada geese, Herons and other birds from the comfort of this holiday cottage.
Great Coombe cottage has a spacious sitting room with French windows onto the patio, wooden floor, Inglenook fireplace and wood burner. It includes a colour TV/video, radio/CD player.
This holiday cottage is ideal for disabled guests with a downstairs twin bedroom and a fully disabled shower/wet room to M3 classification.

Little Coombe is the cosiest of our Dorset holiday cottages at Bookham Court and guests return regularly, especially in the winter. It boasts an open plan sitting/dining room and kitchen with an inglenook fireplace/wood burner, beams and wooden floors.
This cottage is a very popular holiday destination throughout the year, with its views over the garden and the local wildlife.

This recently converted luxury Barn conversion is furnished to a very high standard, combining old and modern to give a contemporary feel. This individual holiday cottage is separate from Bookham Court but the games room, Wildlife hide and fishing lake may be used by all the cottages free of charge.
The large open plan ground floor has a large kitchen with range cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier.
Leather sofas add style to the sitting area, with TV/DVD player and CD player. A good quality sofa bed allows sleeping accommodation for an additional 2 guests. An Interactive computer allows viewing of the Dorset local wildlife at the touch of a button - see birds hatching and badgers playing from your sitting room, subject to the time of year.
The cottage dining table will seat up to 10 guests.
A downstairs twin bedroom is available. This room has an en-suite disabled shower/wet room, graded M3.
