Beehive Cottage is in a beautiful location and guests are welcomed personally by the owners, whose house is adjacent. The Cottage has off-road parking and a sunny south facing garden with guests' own patio and garden furniture. The beamed interior of Beehive Cottage is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Accommodation comprises porch, kitchen dining room, bathroom with shower and large bed sitting room.
The kitchen/dining room is tastefully appointed in pine and forest green. Appliances include double oven cooker, microwave, refrigerator and convector heater. Washing machine and tumble dryer are available on request. Stereo music centre, plus books, games and jigsaws provide ample indoor entertainment.
The spacious bed sitting room offers CTV and video combi with a wide selection of videos, which can be viewed either from the comfort of armchairs or from the twin beds (which can be placed together). Guests are offered a choice of bedding---either duvets or sheets and blankets. A hairdryer is provided
Hartpury village has three public houses and a Post Office/newsagent/dairy/shop, but we are only 4 miles from the City of Gloucester and a Tesco Supermarket. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, we have many country walks from our own doorstep, which makes this an ideal spot for dog owners. This entire area is steeped in history and offers a multitude of attractions to satisfy every interest.
We are ideally situated for exploring the Cotswolds, the Royal Forest of Dean, the Malvern Hills and the Severn Vale.
The towns of Cheltenham, Ledbury, Stroud, Malvern, Ross on Wye and Tewkesbury are within easy driving distance, with Hereford, Worcester, Monmouth, Bath, Bristol and Stratford-upon-Avon a little further afield.
