Gostelow House - Holiday home rental in Bedfordshire
The accommodation available at Gostelow House is situated over three floors.
On the ground floor there is the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, a downstairs bathroom and a utility room.
On the first floor there is a bathroom, a cloakroom and three bedrooms.
On the second floor there are two further bedrooms and a study.
The living room seats seven people, but there are various chairs around the house to seat your party. There is a TV with freesat, a DVD player, a video and a small video and DVD library. There is a music system with radio and cd and a cd library. We also have a range of board games for rainy days.
The dining room seats ten people with room to pull up more chairs if necessary.
The kitchen has all the appliances you would expect in a family home including a double oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is a table which seats up to eight.
The sleeping accommodation available is in five double bedrooms and the Study. Each bedroom has its own theme.
On the first floor:-
The Chinese room overlooks the front garden, it has a 4ft double bed:
The Lilac room overlooks the back garden, it has a standard double bed;
The main bedroom has a dual aspect over the front and back garden, it has a 5ft double bed;
On the second floor:-
The Green room overlooks the back garden, it has a standard double bed;
The Attic room has a standard double bed;
The Study overlooks the back garden, it has a double futon.
There is an inflatable double mattress in the living room for further members of your party.
Gostelow House is surrounded by approximately an acre of secure gardens. Both the front and back garden have large lawns, established borders and are surrounded by mature trees.
The back garden is completely private and has a large pool and patio area with a charcoal and gas barbecue, a wet bar with a sound system and fridge and plenty of patio furniture.
Relax and enjoy the seasons as the Snowdrops and Winter Aconites give way to the early spring Daffodils and Tulips, then late spring brings Peonies and Irises and early summer Poppies begin to wave their happy heads. Summer brings a profusion of colour with a mix of traditional cottage garden flowers, Foxgloves, Hollyhocks, Delphiniums, Lupins and Roses mixing with the more exotic blooms of Echinacea, Lillies and Crocosmia. Dahlias provide colour right into late autumn.
Herbs are available all year for your use and you are welcome to harvest any fruit or vegetables you find during your stay.
There is plenty to do outside at this character rental house. We provide garden games such as croquet and boules to keep you amused during your stay and you are welcome to bring along other garden and pool games.
There is plenty of space on the drive in the front garden for parking.
